Siewert Design has been working with Mangia Onda Boats in developing a line of award-winning,revolutionary sail and power boats.

This fun, lightweight and easy to sail dinghy features the innovative M-shaped hull for improved stability and simplified sailing. The channels capture the bow wave and provide enhanced stability to resist heeling, while the skirt automatically sinks into the water to provide increasing side force with increasing wind strength. Since the boat has no centerboard, it can be sailed right up onto the beach without worry.

The power driven vessels use the same unique hull design to reduce wake and power requirements. The MO 52 pictured to the lower right, was designed and built for Venice, Italy to replace the traditional vaporetto's. Vaporetto is the traditional name of the waterbuses used for mass transportation on the canals of Venice Italy. However, the Italian government is seeking a more efficient alternative to these generations-old craft.
