Greg Siewert formed the yacht design firm now based in Charleston, South Carolina in 1994. Siewert Design offers marine industrial design services to builders and prospective owners throughout the World.

The marine environment demands certain criteria must apply for a vessel to be safe, efficient, and comfortable. Our extensive on-the-water experience helps ensure that these concepts meet these demands.

Siewert is a 20-year veteran with broad experience in the marine industry, having formerly worked with several major builders as well as managing design and construction projects in the U.S. and New Zealand. Siewert is an Industrial Design graduate from the University of Wisconsin and has extensive boating experience both in power and racing sailboats. Siewert's objectives in the marine design field have always been toward developing innovative design solutions with a blend of contemporary and traditional marine styling.

To his credit, he had designed a wide variety of craft, from the award-winning Hobie "Wave" catamaran and Wahoo Sailing Dinghy, to a complete line of the S-2's "Pursuit" sport fishing boats, and a series of Carver Yachts production yachts. There is currently a large demand for interiors and superstructures for large motor yachts, and Greg is currently contracted with several U.S. builders.
